Casaburdan Productions is a new theater and production company based in Philadelphia, established in 2009. They are an experimental project utilizing multimedia, satire, and drag to shed light on today's political and social issues.
The two founding members, David Burgess and Kevin Jordan, had already worked on several productions in the Philadelphia area when they decided to start Casaburdan Productions. Past clients include The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Philadelphia Film Society and The Philadelphia Cinema Alliance. Their first original show entitled "Wake Up Philadelphia," was a satyrical look at the Philadelphia morning news broadcasts, debuting in the Philly Fringe Festival in 2009.
By contributing to this project, grantors and donors help fund Casaburdan Productions' theater projects, public performance art, and film projects, as well as website upkeep and artist alliance fees.
